HB 4596 would create government “health misinformation response units” to monitor speech and enforce state-approved narratives. Fines. Penalties. Even prison. Truth should never be dictated by the state.

Illinois Adopts the Nation’s First Mandatory Mental Health Screening for Students

This summer, Illinois became the first state in the nation to require public school students, grades three through twelve, to be screened for mental health issues, beginning the 2027-28 school year.

Legislative Update for the Week of March 31, 2025

The Illinois Senate will be back in Springfield on Tuesday, April 1st. But the Illinois House will not be back until April 7th. All this week state representatives will be in their district offices so it is a good time to gather a few like-minded friends and schedule a visit with them. They need to hear from us!
