By David E. Smith   |   10.15.25
Illinois lawmakers have chosen ideology over integrity. By embracing Gov. Pritzker’s so-called Equality for Every Family Act, they’ve redefined parenthood, erased motherhood and fatherhood, and treated children as commodities in a social experiment that defies both nature and God’s design.

Prayer Bulletin for October 2025
By David E. Smith   |   10.07.25
A nation cannot endure without secure borders, a shared language, and common values. When immigration is lawful and orderly, it strengthens America by allowing newcomers to integrate into our culture. But violent riots, obstruction, and collaboration with radical agitators are designed to weaken our republic and sow chaos.
Banned Books Week Is a Sham
By David E. Smith   |   10.05.25
Don’t be fooled: Banned Books Week isn’t about free speech—it’s about pushing an agenda. Behind the slogans of “intellectual freedom,” activists highlight sexually explicit and progressive titles while sidelining books that uphold faith, family, and traditional values. It’s time for parents and communities to push back, ask hard questions, and make sure the books that matter don’t get silenced.
Celebrate Constitution Day!
By David E. Smith   |   09.17.25
Today is Constitution Day, marking 238 years since the signing of the U.S. Constitution. Some seek to replace liberty and limited government with failed schemes of coercion and control. We cannot squander God’s amazing gift of self-government.

Assassinations. Murders in our streets. From Charlie Kirk’s killing to 310+ homicides in Chicago this year—America is reaping what it has sown. But chaos is only the symptom. The deeper problem is spiritual. Christians, it’s time to see with biblical eyes and fall to our knees in prayer for mercy and revival.

By David E. Smith   |   09.11.25
The cowardly assassination of Charlie Kirk is a sobering reminder of the darkness in our world—and the hope we have in Christ. As we grieve his loss, we pray for his family and honor his unwavering legacy of faith, truth, and courage.

Endowed by Our Creator—or Granted by Government?
By David E. Smith   |   09.05.25
The Declaration of Independence says our human rights are “endowed by our Creator.” U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) calls that “troubling.” Which vision do you trust—the Founders or today’s politicians? If human rights come only from government, they’re not rights at all—they’re privileges that can be erased at any moment.

He and his wife of 30 years are blessed to be the parents of eight children, whom they homeschool. They strongly believe that their first duty before God is to disciple their children in the Christian faith, and impress a love of God on their hearts. There is a plethora of research that suggest that parents are the primary influencers in a child’s life. In an ideal world, that’s a mom and dad. Discipleship includes not only studying God’s Word but living a life of faith and walking in obedience to God. Discipleship is also necessary for sound doctrine, love of God and others. We do this in hopes of raising healthy and productive members of society who live to honor God and love their neighbors.

Dave has also served as a precinct committeeman and served as an ordained minister/elder in his local church.
