More than 1 in 3 boys have gambled. Over half of adults have too. This isn’t “harmless fun”—it’s addictive. The house always wins; the player loses. Illinois reaps revenue from those losses—then asks taxpayers to fund programs to address the “gambling disorder” it helped create.
