Victoria’s Voice: Support for Drug Abuse
				Generation Z is plagued by substance abuse. Over 13 million people aged 18-25 reported marijuana use in 2022. In addition to this, “Gen Z drug use outpaces all other age groups for factors such as prescription benzodiazepine misuse and cocaine use.”

		Capping THC Levels in Pot
				A bi-partisan group of State Representatives recently filed HR 700 at the Capitol in Springfield. This resolution calls for a cap on THC levels in retail marijuana. We are working the Illinois House members in hopes that we can better educate them on the consequences of high potency marijuana in our state.

		The Greatest Friend
				It should come as no surprise that actor Matthew Perry went to his death as a relatively young 54-year-old on October 28th. A final autopsy is weeks away, but his body had faced demise before. Drugs had taken their toll. Perry survived a coma in 2018 after nearly dying from a gastrointestinal perforation.
