DESCRIPTION:Join the IFI Team and many other great pro-life advocates at the annual SpeakOut Illinois Conference. This year’s event will be held on Saturday\, May 15th\, at the Drury Lane in Oak Brook Terrace\, IL. \nThe theme this year: Faithful for Life \nThis year’s keynote speakers will be Damon and Melanie Owens. They are the founders of Joyful Ever After\, a ministry to help couples flourish in holy marriages\, build strong marriage communities\, and enrich parish life with the soul of the family. They have been married 27 years and have eight children. \nDamon served as the first executive director of the Theology of the Body Institute. He has published numerous articles\, appears regularly on radio and TV programs and has hosted and produced three 13-part television series for EWTN. \nMelanie earned her BA in sociology at the University of California at Santa Barbara and her MSW at the University of California at Berkeley.
